That birdy is saying brrrrr I believe. Were it mine, I'd reposition him
so he isn't dead center of a square..
Wow - you remember that visit that didn't happen.. I believe it was
when I was headed west just a couple of weeks after 9/11 in 2001...
I got a ticket for passing a truck in a construction zone... (I didn't
know where my exit would be and the truck blocked my view.. so I
floored it get around him.. I drove another couple of miles before I
got pulled over.. it threw everything off timing wise _ I had to stop in
a town and pay the fine so I could get out of Dodge.. ugh.. I had never
gotten a speeding ticket before .. or any sort of ticket..
I was a mess... hence, Columbus was not to be.

Wanted to go to my favorite city park to shoot today because, as so rarely
happens on a central Ohio winter day, the sun came out. I parked at the first
open trail and there was this bunch of fat birds working to survive the winter.
This crop is about 1/9 the original. It’s just a square out of the center.

I shot about 30 images but too many had bush branches in the way.
A cardinal pair came by for a visit but they were too skittish when I started
to move with the camera.

Next time I’ll remember the polarizing filter. But even so this isn’t too bad.
Ann San wanted to go to this park many years ago but wasn’t able to stop in
Columbus. I used to shoot a lot here. It’s area is > 1 section, so not too much
different area than Central Park. We just have statues, hawkers, or hookers.
