A few weeks ago I bought a broken Cosina 200mm f4.0 lens in an eBay auction just because I could get it for next to nothing and I thought it would be fun to play with. After fixing it (sticky diaphragm blades: just need CLA basically) I took a few shots with it just to see how they looked. Imagine my surprise when I got the slides yesterday and found that this is really a nice little lens! All the shots were taken at f8 and I'm sure things will deteriorate as it gets closer to wide open but I'm really pleased it in general. I was planning on selling it but I think I'll just save a place for it in my mini manual focus kit (where it'll compliment the Kiron 28-70).
