35mm or MF? if 35mm, i'd stay with any film ISO100 or below. if MF, ISO400 is probably OK as well (Provia 400F comes to mind, gives fantastic 6x7 slides!)
I have tried a few films, and for occasional shooting, my favorites now are Provia 100F for 35mm -- it scans very well, and Agfa RSXII 100 for MF (I've got a load for cheap and have been very happy with it so far).
