I have... several times. Both small and medium format. I remember once we were going at great speed after a day's fishing, to get back into port as a storm approached. I was hanging on for dear life with my left hand, and photographing the oncoming storm between the bursts of spray with the right hand :) Manual winding single-handed is fun. The old K2 on "auto" exposed the slides perfectly. The 40x30" framed print on my living room wall was taken on a boat.
