I have one. I've used the GPS function with my K-3, but I haven't really
used the astro tracer function.
I have a Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer 2i that works quite well for
tracking stars/moon/sun with a telephoto lens on a DSLR.

I used it to photograph the Annular Eclipse in October 2023 out in New
Mexico. I made a little movie in Photoshop:

The motorized equatorial mount works with my K10D, K20D, K-3 and K-1
I had my K20D converted to IR.
I went down to Texas for the 2024 Eclipse. I set the Sky-Watcher up to
start tracking the sun before the eclipse.
When heavy clouds rolled in just as the eclipse was beginning, I
switched to the converted K20D and could still photograph the eclipse
through the clouds.

I have solar filters for my 80-200 f/2.8 and for my 300 f/2.8

Hi all!
Just bought the Pentax O-GPS2 GPS module. Plan on trying the Astro tracer
down the road. Has anyone used this piece of kit? Tips?
How’s everyone doing?
Cheers, Christine Aguila
