London was massive, Cotty arranged an evening (?) ride on the Eye, we did walks through markets and art galleries… Apart from my stopping in for the event, Gianfranco came over from Naples for the weekend (with a new girlfriend as I recall.) Years before that I had met up with Bob, Cotty and Cotty’s son Steph for a Saturday morning coffee in North London someplace. I think that was the weekend where I stayed in a hotel on that side of town, had to reroute to the airport the next day because my intended tube station start-point had just been bombed by IRA…
