New Pentax 28mm shift lens picture at http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=841190&size=lg.
I mention this for your edification only because this picture illustrates proportions best suited to a 28mm shift lens, as opposed to 24mm or 35mm shift lenses. As with any focal length you can get your eye accustomed to what works best for a particular focal length. In my estimation, the 28mm focal length in 35mm shift lenses seems to be ideal for what I usually have in terms of "back-up distance" from the subject. 35mm would be too long to have gotten this. I don't think 24mm would have worked, either. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
