Hi, Getting in on "For Sale Fridays" a day early (it must be Friday somewhere right now).
I've decided to stick with primes for my screwmount bodies, having a couple of decent zooms for my k-mounts. This Vivitar is no world beater, to be sure. Genuine plastic barrel, "macro" (ha), not particularly sharp, but not ~that~ bad, either. One touch. No scratches on front or back elements (it's had a filter on it the whole time I've owned it - filter not included), no fungus or spots on lenses, comes with front and back lens caps and cheap collapsable rubber hood, and I think I have the original box somewhere, if not, I'll pack it up real good. A teeny bit of play in the focus/zoom ring (it came that way). Cosmetically, pretty good shape, a bit of worn paint on the aperture ring and threads of the mount, that's it. I bought it new about 3 or 4 years ago. A good lens for those bad weather days, when the rocks are slippery, and you don't want to get your Takumars dirty. $40Cdn, $25US, plus actual shipping costs; if you don't like those prices, talk to me... Contact me off list if interested. thanks, frank -- "The optimist thinks this is the best of all possible worlds. The pessimist fears it is true." -J.
