Hey, congratulations, William. Welcome to the "Baby 600 Club". (Well, the 600/5.6 is a mere baby, compared to the larger and heavier 600/4 - <g>.) > It came today, and I'll send my initial impressions (hopefully > something more erudite than my present "WOW!!") later, I'm looking forward to your feedback. > but I'm wondering where you got the manuals. Mine did not come > with any manual, and I'd like to get a hold of one. I'll check the > Pentax site in a minute, I think I remember the 4-in-1 manual > being there in .pdf format, but not the dedicated one. My lens came from KEH with the "4-in-1" manual, and that's all that I thought was available for some time (and I think that's all that is available for this lens on the Pentax USA site). However, the "dedicated" A* 600/5.6 manual popped up on eBay and I quickly BINned it. However, I really don't think that there's anything in the "dedicated" manual that isn't also in the "4-in-1" manual (except that it's not "cluttered" with extra text and images related to the other three big A* lenses). I've got plans to scan and publish (as PDF files) a number of my not-so-common manuals. When I do, I'll put 'em on my web site. Now you've gotta get hold of the A 1.4X-L and A 2X-L TC's, too - <g>. Enjoy that lens - it's a good one, and you'll get some good shots with it. Fred - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
