If I recall, there also used to be a great bar downtown with a spy theme called the "Safehouse." You entered into a small room and once you give the password, a bookcase slides away and you could enter. If you didn't know the password, the bouncer had you do some embarrassing task, which patrons already inside the bar could watch via closed-circuit TV. The inside had the spy theme going on, complete with a secret exit and sound-effect payphone. The last time I was there, we hung out with Penn & Teller (the comedians). That was back in 1990 or 1991. For the Milwaukee folks... is it still there?
