Hi Frank, It depends on how low are the light conditions we are talking about. I made some woderful shot of 20-30 sec. with a Z-1 ten years ago, but I've never used the Z-1p for low light stuff (except sometimes handheld shots of maybe 1/8s at f/1.4). The Z-1/Z-1p doesn't let you take shots of more than the nominal 30 sec. in Auto, while other cameras (including K2, MEsuper and SuperA) do (correct me if I'm wrong...).
