My wonderful fiance came home tonight with a Pentax Optio 230 for me! I think the 230 was just released this past June. It's 2 megapixels. We were looking at them online the other night. I told him I wanted a digital camera but I didn't need more than 2 megapixels for my first camera.
The Optio 230 has a plastic body, not metal like the other Optios, but it feels sturdy enough to me. And the back screen flips out in case you want to take pictures of yourself, I guess.
