Francis, I'm not going to judge good nor bad however I can provide brief subjective views: The bokeh behind the tree-trunk seems to me more distracting as the highlights have quite hard and distinct edges hence they draw my attention. The bokeh visible in the other image bud whist more smooth edged is distracting by virtue of the background subject matters contrast, it's also not so out of focus. I find it pretty difficult to make reasonable subjective bokeh comparisons between dislike images.
