Maybe, but I try and treat everyone well, always bring my own beer to parties, rescue stray animals and call my mom once a week. I don't remember any of my past lives, so maybe that's the problem. I think the "problem" is that I worry a lot more about getting decent shots rather than protecting my gear. The solution would be to find an assistant who *is* worried about the gear, but I haven't found him/her yet. They tend to get all teary-eyed and not pay much attention to what they're doing...
