Pentax camera division gains 3.8% growth, but register loss: Consolidated sales of camera division of Asahi Optical in the last term registered an increase of 3.8% in spite of cooled general economy world wide, on the total value of $430 million. However operating loss of $775,000 was registered. Sales drop of photo cameras in the US market affected the company.
