Yes, I have the A 35mm.

It definitely goes wider, seems about equally resistant to flare, and
is about as sharp. Basically, at 35mm I can't tell the slides apart
with a 5x loupe.

I don't think the A 35mm is as sharp as the 45-85 or 120, nor do I
think the 33-55 is as sharp as the 45-85 in it's range. This is akin
to saying Arnold Schwarzenegger isn't as strong as god. He's still
pretty damned strong and both lenses are sufficiently sharp for
anything you care to point them at.

The A 35 focuses significantly closer than the 33-55. If I remember
correctly, the 33-55 does not have quite the same build quality as the
45-85 or 80-160 zooms.

It's very light and would be ideal for hauling around in a pack. Also,
it's the widest rectilinear lens made for the 645.

This is just my very unscientific opinion based on having run a couple
of rolls of 220 through it and looking at the slides.
