No no....I'm no newbie. The red-eye function is off. That OF COURSE was the first thing I checked. Believe me, the Pentax Rep. and I went over everything. Wonder if it is a design fault. And again, I wouldn't be so silly as to have red-eye reduction on and wonder why I got a double flash. It's not a stored property in the memory either.
Any other ideas? :) ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, July 25, 2002 7:51 AM Subject: Re: Pentax Optio 230 Double Flash > Brad, > Welcome and it's called 'red eye reduction'. > The first flash gets your iris to close up so the 2nd flash can get a natural > looking picture...no goulish red eyes with people in the dark! > Regards, Bob S. > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: > > << recently picked up this little digital camera for taking to bars and clubs > for 'fun' shots, instead of bringing in thousands of dollars in equipment.
