I wish to god we had a service like that here in England. The local shops will do film to a good quality (5x7 etc) in 20 mins. Digital card have to be sent away and take a week!!! No I think not. A 36x5x7 costs me for 1hr D&P 3.99 and the lady takes great care. In fact we have 7 places to take film to and this is in a small town. Only one has provided 'iffy' results. A lot of the local photographic society do not process there own colour film now they just send it in and use the 4x6 as contact prints. They then print themselves the one or two prints for competition. Me, well I am going backwards doing B&W myself, using spotmatics, Going to try big glass plates next ;-) Alan - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
