Don't get into Cosina lenses, or else you'll get what you pay for - poor
quality for little money. There are many good Pentax standard zooms around.
However, if I were you, i'd go for the newest lens: SMC FA 28-105mm
f/3,2-4,5 AL(IF). IMHO it's currently the best value for the money - it has
a bayonet mount lens hood (at last Pentax introduced this feature into the
amateur lenses), aspherical lens, internal focusing. It's also quite fast.
And it costs in Poland only about 1300PLN new.

They are not compatible directly, but you can easily mount them, as well as
any other m42 lens, via the m42-to-K-mount adapter. Pentax cameras work with
such set-up with no problem and you even retain the Focus Confirmation
feature. The only minor disadvantage of it is that the only way the camera
meters exposure is stop-down metering.
