Unfortunately, with the introduction of the Nikon D100, Canon D60 and Fuji S2, the competition for Pentax has just gotten a lot tougher. Pentax cannot introduce a 6MP camera that costs more than ~$2000. Pentax cannot introduce a $2000 camera with less than 6MP.
