Nice lens.
I've had one since the beginning of this year.
Like Alan says "It combines consumer grade construction with fast optics."
After the old manual focus stuff, I wasn't quite prepared for how light and
flimsy it felt. It's proved to be a nice performer though. I've had some
very nice results with it, and so has Paul who currently has it more or
less permanently on his MZ-5n. Sharp and good contrast.
I'm no longer concerned about the build quality. I'm confident that it can
hold up to any abuse either of us two throw at it. It's already had a bang
off a car door which was caught by the wind. The worse that happened was
that the lens cap flew off and dented the car next to us (Yikes! Mental
note to self, don't buy model of car that can be dented by a plastic lens
cap). Can't go wrong for the price, as far as I'm concerned.
