Hi all,
My father in law has just come back from a holiday in Austria
(Myerhofen)
And he uses an Olympus 35RD camera (I gave it him to use instead of the
canon sure shot
that he could never get to give good pictures).
The pictures he has come back with are very good. Some would stand up to
enlargement to perhaps poster size.
The problem is with some is that the light was just to bright and the
shadows to dark (to much range).
He used Fuji superia 100 and 200.
Is there a film that has a greater contrast range capability ( don't
know what else to call it).
Practically all his photography is up mountains and either the whites
are bleached or the darks are black.
He does not want an SLR and kit (say he carries to much already and at
79 he does far better then me!).
What do people use for print film when it is bright, lots of UV and dark
shadows?
A tall order I know but perhaps some films are better then others for
this type of situation.
Alan
