Just about to unsubscribe, as I'm off on vacation, to the Magdellan Islands in the Gulf of St. Lawrence. I think that the house that we've rented doesn't even have a phone, let alone a computer. If anyone wants to contact me off-list, I won't be getting back to you until my return, which will be August 19th.
Should be lots of stuff to take piccies of, as it's supposed to be a beautiful place. It's my late father's family's ancestral home, my grandfather and grandmother having left there for Halifax in the 1920's. Apparently Theriaults have been on the Islands since the late 1700's. It's going to be strange being in a place where there are lots of other folks with my surname!
