Not that much, if you don't need all the bells and whistles. I got a
Vivitar branded flashmeter with LEDs and 1/2 f/stops readout for about
60$ used, a better version with 1/3 f/stops readout and ambient light
compensation runs only a little more on the used market. These
flashmeters were pretty common and cheap, and are reliable - I checked
mine against a new Sekonic and they metered the same, and my slides
are exposed well with it. It was also sold under many different
brands. It looks like a box of cigarettes with a wheel on the front,
array of LEDs and the metering sphere (sliding, for
incident/reflective readings) on the top.
