KODAK UNWRAPS NEW PRINT FILM Kodak has launched a new range of 35mm consumer colour print film called Royal Supra. Aimed at 'advanced amateurs, enthusiasts and professionals' and due out in September, the new film replaces the previous Royal and Professional Supra film families. The new film will come in 200, 400 and 800 speeds. Kodak claims that the 200 and 400-speed films feature improvements over its predecessors, enabling them to deliver 'accurate skin tones and improved sharpness'. Kodak's film brand manager Andreana Dixon claimed: 'The improved imaging qualities... make these films ideal for optical printing and for conversion to digital images for scanning, use on computers or e-mailing...' ------------------------------------------------------------------------ --------
KODAK GEARS UP TO DEBUT NEW PRO FILM Kodak UK has confirmed the forthcoming launch of a colour negative film - the Professional Portra 400UC (Ultra Colour). The Portra 400UC is billed as a highly saturated fine-grain film aimed at commercial, fashion, editorial, architecture, advertising and nature photographers.
