The Ilford data sheets should have the information you need. There are two standards for filtration increments. I think Kodak is one, and Beseler is the other. Make a print with a grade 3 filter, then make a print with the colour head filters, and see which standard is closest to what you are using. For myself, I don't worry about whether the filtration matches someones reference standard. If I want more contrast, I dial in magenta until I get enough.
