Alviar Irvine, CA< i use my Chaser EFL-4A with a Velbon ball head and it is a very good combination. it is more rigid and stronger than the MAXi 343E and light enough to carry to a lot of places. only one thing i wish and that is a hook for the bottom of the extension so that i can attach a weight, like a camera bag, for more stability.
