Margo,

I have a 28-105 FA lens as well. I have used it for 3 years as the primary
lens to shoot my PJ Wedding work. I have been nothing but pleased with the
results I get with this lens. I hesitate to say that it is every bit as good
as my prime lenses (I have the 50mm 1.4 as well) but I haven't ever felt the
need to switch to a prime to get better images. I would have to say that it
is my most used lens and has never let me down. I have to add that I do not
use the power zoom feature. I like to have more control in my zooming. The
auto focus is as quick and accurate as my other lenses on the PZ1p and the
pictures are sharp and color rendition is accurate. I would hold on to it
and be glad you have such a gem of a lens.

Dear Fellow Pentaxians,

I have both a 35-80 FA lens and the 28-105 FA lens. It it my imagination, or
in the 28-105 sharper?

My SHARPEST lens is my 50mm 1.4. It's a manual focus, so I keep it on my
K1000.
