Sorry, my laptop hiccuped. Last week I met someone that had the 65mm and 180mm lenses for my G690. I was so excited, because they were described to me as excellent and better. But then reality s with a unk in. Upon inspection I realised that the 65mm lens had a non funcional shutter and the 180mm lens was an abused lens.
I was deflating very quickly, but then I saw a GSW690 advertised at Vistek. When I called them to confirm the availability of this camera, I was told that it was just sold, but a GSW690III was available instead. After twisting a few arms, I picked this camera for $900 CDN with a cheap carrying case and a B+W filter. I'm still trying to figure out what kind of filter it is. The inscription in the inner ring is "B+W 67E 010 1x". Since it's a 67mm filter I'm assuming 67E is for the thread size, 010 is the filter type (?) and 1x is for the exposure compensation. Can someone confirm my assumption? I'm in 6x9 heaven now. Jeff. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. To unsubscribe, go to http://www.pdml.net and follow the directions.
