Chris, This particular body seems to have a problem. I have shot between 100-200 rolls through mine of both 120 & 220 varieties and have never seen anything like what you describe. You should question the reliability of that particular body, but not necessarily the 67II in general. I, too, love the feel of mine and am very happy with it. If you want to know anything else about the 67II don't hesitate to ask.
