As always, Bruce is right and wrong. Pentax is weak/non-existent is some segments (PJ, DSLR) but strong in others like field Medium Format. (Mamiya rules studios & 'Blad rules weddings, Bronica is spotty.)
The problem with digital cameras today is not one of resolution or versatility, but of application to the business. Until they become real wireless enterprise network devices (instead of just peripheral devices) will they be technologically mature. Pentax, or anyone else who would do so, could conquer the PJ market not on the basis of body features, but on the basis of FIT. The camera, film or digital, is just a way of getting the image to the paper. Reducing that time is what digital is for, at least for the PJ workplace. Now, if only Pentax marketing & engineering would hire me to develop an enterprise solution. So, Pal, et. al., how do I get in touch with Pentax' Marketing department? (I'm serious here.)
