Artur, I hate to be contradictory, but it really is true that if an
individual user doesn't like or cannot get on with an interface, they
will never like it! I have this happen to me with programming
computers, there is always someone who doesn't like what you've done.
In my case, I was coming from the ME to decide between the PZ1p and the
MZ5: to me it was no contest, as the MZ5 has a much simpler interface,
is more modern technology, and at the time was about 2/3 the price of
the PZ1p. I did examine the user manual for the PZ1p, but was, I
acknowledge, put off by the thought of what seemed to me a huge number
of interface choices, and a very complex and obscure method of
selecting shooting modes. It may be that in time I would have come to
at least understand, if not like it, but the purchasing decision has to
be made on the facts and impressions at the time.

My own view of the MZ-S, while not really of value to anyone else, has
been stated more than once here - I love it, and think it much better
than other models from other marques I have seen. For my photography,
I have never found it wanting, which just about says it all - but only
for me. As our American friends are wont to say, your mileage may
vary.
