Good advice. Chris lives on the praries, but temperature drops
off at altitude here too. Part of balloon training is what is
called terminal decents. What we do is go to about 10,000 MSL
and shut the burner down. The balloon will drop, pretty much
like a stone.
Anyway, when we did ours, it was 14�C at ground level (here,
that is 1900MSL), but at 10,000 it was about -10�.
We were not dressed for it.
