Hi, Met up with Paul Stenquist last night for a few brews and some (slightly expensive) pub grub, and had a great time! It was still light out when I left my house to walk over to the pub, so I brought along my MX, with my latest toy, the Vivitar S1 24-48, since I didn't exercise it enough over the weekend (and actually got a few shots on the way over). So, in walks Paul, and out of his pocket comes his MX with a lovely little pancake on it.
Sat for several hours over our beers, and talked about cameras, his job (quite interesting), my job (not so interesting - "I pick up packages, ride my bike to the next place, and drop them off..."), and all manner of other things. He's a great guy, and I'm glad that I got to meet him. As I've said before, it's always great to meet list members! Heads up to other Toronto guys: Paul will likely be back in early September, so we might all get another chance to meet up with him again. regards, frank David Chang-Sang wrote: > Grrr > > I would have made it had it not been for an evil loss of our soccer team.. > which of course had to be followed up by an evening of drowning our > sorrows..... *sigh* > > Maybe another time as long as Paul's hanging out in Hogtown. > > Cheers, > Dave > > -----Original Message----- > From: frank theriault [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, August 27, 2002 4:45 PM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Off to see Paul > > Hi, > > As some of you may recall, Paul Stenquist is in Toronto this week on > business.
