Paul, I had the impression that the contrary was true. I have a hard
time getting good color prints from my Kodachrome slides using a
LS-30 and an Epson 1200 with MIS archival inks. I bought wiziwyg and
saw that I still have a long way to go to profile things correctly.
(Any good teach-in site?) I understand that if you put the time to
do this profiling, the results will be there. But am I using the
right inks?

For B&W I was thinking about buying an Epson 1160 (400$) and fitting
it with the MIS archival quadro B&W kit. I have maybe 300 negs I'd
like to print and ultimate quality is not my goal. (Most of my negs
are contrasty.) So would this kit be a good idea? Piezo photography
with the 1160 is also an option although expensive. Is it worth the
money?
