Hi,

The Paterson E6 kit I use runs at 32C, if I remember rightly. Not too
difficult to achieve using a tempering bath, I would think. However, I
invested in a JOBO CPE2 processor, which is bascially a waterbath with a
rotation drive. This will take 35mm, 120 and 4x5 (and even 16x20 prints)
with the correct tanks & spools. I bought it for 4x5 from my SpeedGraphic,
but it also does a good job with 35mm and 120 reversal film. In fact, having
used it for E6 and found it very easy, I now use it for all my B&W
processing as well.

You can get one on Ebay for $150 or less with a 35/120 tank (the 4x5 tank
would be another $50). My local pro lab charges about $4 for a single 4x5
sheet, so this will pay for itself fairly quickly (particularly as I just
bought 500 sheets of out-of-date Fuji Astia!). However, Jobo is a German
make and few come up on US Ebay (I'm in the UK).

The alternative would be to find a Graflex 6x9 roll film back (I use an MPP
back) and use 120 reversal film - you should find this easier to process
locally.

Cheers

Andy
