Hi Margo, I agree to an extent, no picture is good if it is inherently unattractive, however there are instances where better equipment will go a long way to improving the final image. One example that immediately springs to my mind are macro shots made using add on lenses, often they induce unpleasant and distracting coloured edge distortions.
