The limiter places an end of the focusing range a certain fixed distance (1 meter or so, I don't remember). If you're south of that it work as an upper limit, if you're over that (when you set it) it's the lower one.
No way to change the placement in the focusing range. I hope I'm not wrong. Ciao, Flavio
