Hi folks, At this time of year, as the first anniversary to Sep 11th approaches, I have an offer to make listers. I was in two minds about this, but after deliberating for a while, I decided to go ahead, as there are possible benefits to some people.
A week or two after 9/11, I was cleaning out my email application, and I noticed the PDML digest posts for that day. For some reason I kept them. I thought that maybe one day they would be useful, if for nothing else other than a chronological record of how list members reacted to those awful events. Perhaps, I thought, a psychologist or researcher might be able to use them as part of a study into how people react in this wired age of lists and forums. Anyway, I have them, and with solemn dignity, I will offer them to anyone who asks, as a RTF attachment, which will be read by MS Office, or Appleworks. It is very sobering reading, and you will shed more tears, but at this time of year I feel that it is important that we remember what happened, and maybe how we reacted as a group? I certainly mean no offence by this offer, and make it with the sincerest of intentions. Please email me directly if you are interested.
