I owned the 28-80mm as part of a kit a few years back. Don't get it, it was terrible! As for the 80-320mm, it is better than the 100-300mm which was also crap (it's mount was plastic and I kept getting bits of it in my camera or on the screen. At least the 80-320 has a metal mount, and I've heard favourable things. Brad Dobo
