For those who have already lived through this, bear with me for a moment while I bring newer members up to date. A couple of months ago, list member Dario produced a wonderful poster celebrating 50 years of Pentax. For each year he has one image of a camera produced that year. See <http://digilander.libero.it/pentaxday/postere.htm> Dario, in a fit of charity and generosity, offered PDML members copies of the poster at (or maybe below) cost plus postage. International Postage being what it is from Italy, the postage is way more than the poster. But by consolidating orders, it is possible to minimize the cost by putting 15 posters into one mailing tube to the U.S.
(By the way, I have never seen anything packed so tightly into a container since the last time I saw an ad for Calvin Klein jeans). So anyway, I ordered 60 of the posters and transshipped them to about 35 different PDML members. Tomorrow morning I send the last batch ordered by a PDMLer in the first go round (he was slow paying, I am slow shipping, so it all balances out.) I set aside a couple for myself, I'll send one of those to a latecomer who sent me payment a month ago anticipating that I would be getting more. As far as I know, this satisfies all demand in the U.S. for the poster. With the possible exception of JCO who inquired about cost etc but did not specifically commit. If a bunch of people still want posters, I'll do it again. If one or two do, it is probably easier all the way around for you to go directly to Dario. Let me know, off list at <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, if you want one or more posters. Depending on total quantity, ordering through me will run about $7.50/ $10.75 / $14.25 for 1 / 2 / 3 posters respectively. Plus or minus $.50 depending on a couple of factors. They really are nice! One of the ones I got is hanging in my local store next to similar posters from Canon and Minolta. The Pentax one is much better done! Stan
