Brand loyalty is nonsense. Corporations have a single loyalty (at best): their 
stockholders. 
And as far as Pentax goes -- so far I haven't seen an alternative to LX (lightweight, 
sealed, -6EV meter, interchangeable finders, etc...). If Nikon comes up with one, at 
comparable prices -- I would seriously consider switching brands.
