I think it is just constant exposure to temptation that makes people more and more anxious. I hear people saying that Foveon is dead because they took 6 months to release their DSLR from when they announced it. Big deal, this only matters to people who were desparate to buy it and could not wait. Once it hits the market, then the clock starts ticking. Till then, its just impatience.
