Some talk about Kodachrome 25 and 64 here, so a question: I found that in the nineties Kodachrome 64 (KR) was more neutral than Kodachrome 25 (KM). But in the eighties, I had the impression that it was the contrary, KR being on the magenta side and KM on the green side.
In 1989, I took both films on a trip and used to repeat my last frame with the first frame of the next film, and when I was changing the type of film I could see a HUGE difference in color balance between KM and KR. I had bought pro KM and KR film but from a USA mail order supplier, and I always wondered if what I had received was in fact "false" pro film that was kept in proper temperature by the supplier or if the difference was normal. So my question is: was there such a difference in, say, 1988, between both films? And has there been a big difference between them more recently? Andre --
