Man.. between PDML and HUG; all I've been seeing today is stuff on this 645 AF system that looks strangely like a Contax 645AF.
That being said, the HUG is split on whether this is a "good move" by Hasselblad. The hard core 6x6 camp is miffed by the lack of a full frame 6x6 digital back and feels the "smaller" format of the 645 isn't going to sell as well. Others however feel that there is potential here to grab market share from Contax, Mamiya and even.. my gosh.. Pentax (yep.. people on the HUG mentioned Pentax with respect to MF gear). As I said before, Kodak is in bed with everyone and has already made a digital back for the Blad 645AF system. To bring this back on topic; is it possible for Kodak to get in bed with Pentax and do the same for you 645 and 67 folk?
