1.Check your shutter speed and exposure mode first ! 2.When flash is ready , does the green flash-sign lights up in viewfinder? 3.Are you using dedicated flash for PENTAX ? 4.Maybe bad contact......?
Z- cameras uses digital protocol for changing info with flash and you can�t change it . Regards , Raivo BTW, I use z-20 with Vivitar Series1 flash with no problem ...
