Pentax is DEAD! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Long live the PENTAX!
Life goes on. I still like my kit. I know that I won't replace it with anything that doesn't afford me at least the same options and cost significantly less than what's currently the case. Fortunately, my client is me. I can pursue what's important to me and use any means I damn well like. Most pros are driven to provide what their clients expect. My sympathies to them. Somewhere down the line, I may get the equivalent of a Canon G2 (or whatever the future equivalent will be, maybe even a Pentax), but it would be to replace my Yashica point and shoot, not my Pentax kit: ZX-5n, FG grip, Autobellows A, Refconverter M, AF500 FTZ, FA 24mm f:2, FA 35mm f:2, A 50mm f:1.7, A 50mm f:2, FA 77mm f:1.8, FA 100mm f:2.8, M 135mm f:3.5 . I actually like all this stuff and get great pleasure using it whenever I can. I intend to keep doing so for awhile yet. Peace Dan Scott
