This is all valid reasoning. However, since the minimum distance between the rearmost element and the film is fixed (on A Pentax K-mount, about 40mm), wouldn't this reasoning affect all lenses with a focal length of <=40mm? thanks, patbob ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
