Probably depends on Pentax's price and if they have any prior licensing
agreements that already cover it. But I think you are correct, Pentax
wouldn't want Sigma out competing their non-product DLSR.

Pity Sigma lenses are not better lenses (they may be good optically, but
mechanically... whew.. I refuse to even waste time looking at them anymore).

Evil thought.. can an adapter be purchased (or devised) that would enable any
of these mounts to be adapted to either Pentax K or screwmount? No adapter?
How about lens mount _replacement_?
