Lets look at the results:
First the assumptions: 1.) Common black ant, size 1 cm in length.
2.) Head shot 30x magnification.
So focusing distance with 300mm about 31cm.
DOF at f 1 .000172 cm
DOF at f 64 .011027 cm
(Yea, I'm being a geek again).
